We are off to a great start! We spent much of our time this first week getting to know each other, our space, and our new routine. We focused on community building and by midweek we were splitting into math and reading groups.
Math
We worked on place value with notetaking and games.
ELA
We began learning about character traits by reading books and looking for what characters say, do, think, and feel.
Theme
We just dipped our toes into Vikings by watching a video and discussing it. We listed interesting facts we learned and came up with questions we want to answer throughout this unit. We also painted our peeps!
