NEW CAMPUS

AHB is Moving to Crestview

A New Chapter Begins

This summer, AHB Community School embarks on an exciting new chapter—we’re moving just 10 minutes north, from our longtime Hyde Park home to a beautiful new campus in the heart of Crestview.

Located at 7600 Woodrow Ave., right at the intersection of Dartmouth and Woodrow, our Crestview campus is more than just a change of address—it’s a space full of opportunity, growth, and community.

More Than a Building

At AHB, we’ve always believed that a school is not defined by its walls, but by the people inside it. Our community is creative, hard-working, and capable of big transformations—just look at what we’ve done before! We turned a plain space in Hyde Park into a vibrant, joyful learning environment. Now, we’re ready to do it again.

Why Crestview?

The search for a new home wasn’t easy. We needed space for students to grow, room to gather, and—crucially—parking! The large lot at our new location allows us to maintain our “no drop-off line” policy, helping us keep that daily connection between parents, students, and staff. That alone made this location feel like home.

But there’s so much more to love about Crestview.

A Campus Designed For AHB

We’re putting our creative stamp on every corner of the Crestview campus:

Downstairs: Flexible Spaces for All Ages

  • Large classrooms with built-in storage, sinks, and private bathrooms
  • Private classroom outdoor spaces just waiting to become a fairy garden, pollinator garden, or outdoor reading nook
  • commercial kitchen for cooking projects and class events
  • library and conference room for quiet reading or collaboration
  • full-sized gymnasium for everything from after-school sports to school-wide celebrations

Upstairs: Middle School Enhancements

  • Cozy corners and expansive classrooms designed for flexible learning
  • A dedicated STEAM/Theme room with sinks and built-in storage
  • Thoughtfully designed nooks and hallways for storage—and imagination

And for Adults Too…

We’re especially excited to open AHB’s first teacher’s lounge—a space we’ll share with parents for coffees, committee meetings, and community events. It reflects our belief that parents and teachers are true partners in this educational journey.
