At AHB, your child will deepen their learning through self-directed projects that reflect their interests—whether it’s writing a play, building a 3D model, or creating a stop-motion video to explain the water cycle. We also use tools like Socratic seminars and debates to encourage critical thinking. For example, during a unit on the French Revolution, students might explore the question, “Is revolution ever justified?”—helping them engage with complex ideas in meaningful ways.

- Deep Dives & Passion Projects. Our theme-based projects for science and history are a perfect launching pad for advanced work. Your student will be encouraged to pursue passion projects that align with our quarterly themes, allowing them to become resident experts on a topic and share their knowledge with the community.
